Feed Mill
Jaindl has their own fully computerized Feed Mill located on the farm. The mill which is easily operated by one person has an on-site storage capacity of approximately 950,000 bushels. The feed produced in Jaindl�s Mill provides their turkeys with a fresh, high quality feed specially formulated for the Jaindl turkey.
The turkeys are fed up to 1800 tons of feed per week during the peak-growing season. Corn being the main grain ingredient and soybean meal being the main protein ingredient, along with a balanced diet of vitamins and minerals.
Jaindl Farms owns 160 grain farms, which are located in Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill and Berks counties. Each year 8000 of the 12,000 acres owned by the Jaindl Family are planted and produce 80,000 bushels of wheat, 600,000 bushels of corn and 200,000 bushels of soybeans.
